Our Story

Rooted in community,
built one loaf at a time

OakTree Lounge began as a simple conviction: that the people of Mt Vernon deserve a place where bread is treated with the same care as a craft, and where a cup of coffee can slow down a busy morning.

We bake every morning before the sun is fully up. Our sourdough starter has been fed and tended for years. Our butter is European-style, our flour is stone-milled, and our coffee is sourced from roasters who share our respect for the bean.

Located along US-43, we're a gathering place for neighbors — whether you're grabbing a croissant on the way to work, settling in with a book and a pour-over, or picking up a loaf for Sunday dinner.
